August 17 This Sunday: Parables About the War’s Outcome. Matthew 13. Simply Jesus
Pastor Fritz is baptizing Todd Miller Sunday August 17 in the Mad River after the service and snack: The location: Turn into Eastwood Park at the light on Harshman. Take the park road all the way until it ends in the big parking lot. The big parking lot is the one that has the flush toilets. Park in the corner on the Mad River and the eastern side of the lot. Walk to the trail head (about 50 ft from the lot). Go down the steps of the trailhead and there, in the river is where the baptism will take place.

Day of Giving Back – Backpacks & School Supplies Schedule and request:
Distribution Day: Friday, August 22, 2025 9:30am at Beverly Gardens, Overlook and Mad River Middle School. Just show up if you want to help!
SPARK at Spinning Hills Middle School beginning October 2, 2025 1:40-3:10pm. All with the cooperation of Mad River School district!
Purpose: Present Jesus as Lord and Savior through teaching the Bible and treating the students with respect and love, giving each of them the individual attention they need to thrive and root them in the relationship with Jesus necessary for Jesus-like character, confidence, cooperation, and community.
NEW THIS YEAR: Two MRS system teachers will be involved.
NEEDS: Prayer and Mentors to give the students the right support in this important journey. Contact Pastor Fritz if you want more information 937-245-4007. Call the office for an application. This may be for you!!!!!

TOGETHER MEETING OUR FINANCIAL CHALLENGE. The greatest help you can give your Community is this:

Help Needed
AFTER SERVICE SNACK (and I do mean SNACK!) help is needed! See the list on the kitchen door and sign up for a weeks not taken in August or September. Rhonda had neck surgery July 23 so if you can help out until she gets back, just sign up by calling the office or on the list on the Fellowship Hall kitchen door. It doesn’t have to be an elaborate meal! Not a meal at all, just what you want to provide. The main idea is the FELLOWSHIP! Sign up or call Rhonda 937-203-6446 or the office 937-253-5169. Bless you!
The next few weeks will have some changes in my schedule. Next week, I will work in the morning on Tuesday the 19th and be back in the office Tuesday September 2. I will be on vacation but still doing a bit of work from my location. I will give more details on the dates I will be changing my schedule and try to send updates every week as usual.
