COMMUNITY BON FIRE Saturday October 12   7:30pm. Fireside Chats, Food and community Fun! Bring a lawn chair if you have one.

Are you ready to join the team?  MEMBERSHIP Training begins in mid-September.  Pamphlets describing membership are on the resource tables.  Contact Pastor Fritz for more information.

We are getting ready for a new season at Community.  The Yard Sale, Whiz Kids, Unplugged, and The Spark will soon begin.  Plus, we will be building for the future as we repave the parking lot and faithfully pledge for 2027.  Jesus centered teamwork is crucial for God awesome results.  Therefore, JESUS TEAMWORK will be the theme for our Sunday messages.

·  The all Community Yard Sale is coming soon.  In only 3 weeks, we hope to bring in people from the surrounding area.  Our intention is to love and listen to them, and share Jesus. As a team called Community, we must fix our eyes on Jesus and work together to be faithful and fruitful.

·  The Jesus Teamwork Manual is available on all the resource tables.  Yet, is your Jesus' team and your part deeply written on your heart?

Come Tuesday 9/15 to a BIBLICAL DEEP DIVE into Jesus Teamwork!

Thursday Morning Bible Study 10:00am The Book of Psalms. Please know everyone is welcome to come whenever you can.  10:00am every Thursday.

HOPE RESTORED 6:30pm every other Sunday: Next Session: September 13.   

CELEBRATE RECOVERY: A place and people to overcome your hurts, habits, and hang ups.  Every Thursday.  6:00pm Free Supper.  6:45 Celebration.  8:00 Small Groups.

OUTREACH TO THE HOMELESS AND MEN’S SHELTER:  Fourth Saturdays from 12noon-4:00pm. Come and join any Saturday they meet. The next Outreach would be September 26 but the Yard Sale will be the outreach for September.

KINGDOM MAN – Saturdays at 10:00am at Community.  Welcome men of all age

COMMUNITY PRAYER CALENDAR  The September Community Prayer Calendar is on the resource tables and as an attachment to this email.  Thank you for your requests and prayers! Thank you Rich & Mary Ulisky for making these precious prayer calendars happen! LET US PRAY!  The October requests have started coming in.  Please send yours to Mary (rulisky@sbcglobal.net) or Ellen at this email by September 26 for the October calendar.

Just a reminder: UNPLUGGED begins Tuesday September 29 at 3:45 and Whiz Kids begins Tuesday October 13 at 2:45.

The main door glass is fixed! It looks great! So good to look out and see the beautiful sun! Also, once again Nathan helped us out by unclogging a sink in the kitchen. Please contact the office if you need someone to do some home maintenance projects. I will give you his contact info and you can throw some business his way.

I sent out the Fall Newsletter to everyone last Friday. It is a true example of how much this Community Church really represents and loves this community. 

What a great outreach this church has, from those with hurts, habits and hangups with Celebrate Recovery, to serving our children with Whiz Kids, Unplugged and High School youth groups and in January LifeWise, to classes and Bible studies helping us in our Walk with the Lord to some of the fun meals and fellowship as we reach out, Community Methodist Church Riverside is on fire for the Lord. If you do not have a copy of the newsletter, let me know. If you have one, take some time to read and share the good news!
